I’m here to create lasting stories. And the ones that have stuck with me most over a 20-year career in journalism and media are about personal growth and perceived limits.

What started with sports deadlines at a western Colorado daily turned to tales of survival, adventure, and performance focused in action sports magazines, then broadened to outdoor-lifestyle media brands. 

​

Well-built narratives grounded my path into editorial management and content strategy roles, scratching a writing itch (per my 2019 book, The Pacific Alone) and sustaining a career managing editorial output at Adventure Sports Network, Men’s Journal, then caretaking custom partnerships at Outside, where I collaborated with brands of all sizes on both targeted, vertical articles as well as episodic, cross-channel digital experiences.
